No-bake choc nut balls
Using just 5 ingredients, these chocolate balls are easy to make. All you need are Marie biscuits, condensed milk, cocoa powder, chopped walnuts and desiccated coconut. Firstly, blitz the biscuits, walnuts and cocoa powder in a food processor till they are a crumb-like in consistency. Pour in the condensed milk and mix till they are moist. Scoop a spoonful up and roll into a small ball, then roll it with coconut. Refrigerate before serving.
Chocolate truffles
Decadent, creamy and indulgent, they are so delicious that you won’t be able to stop at just 1 piece. Just 2 main ingredients to get started – heavy cream and chocolate. Chop up the chocolate, bring the heavy cream to boil in a sauce pan and pour it over the chocolate. Let the mix sit without stirring for 2 minutes. Then stir until smooth. Cover the mixture and refrigerate overnight. Scoop the mixture, roll into balls and then roll it with your favourite sprinkles or chopped nuts. Refrigerate before serving.
Vanilla shortbread
A shortbread is a buttery and crumbly biscuit or cookie and makes a delicious treat or gift for your friends and family. Making it is easy as it only consist of 5 ingredients – butter, icing sugar, plain flour, cornflour and vanilla extract. Cream the butter and sugar together till the mixture is pale and fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well. Then sift in the flours. Combine well and then knead the dough till it all comes together. Roll out the mixture and cut them into desired shapes. Bake it till it is lightly golden.
Easy fudge
If you are looking for something really simple, give this recipe a whirl. With just 3 ingredients and the magic of your microwave, you’ve got a sweet sticky treat without fuss. Just pop semisweet chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter into the microwave for 3 – 5 minutes or until melted. Make sure you stir every once in a while. Pour the mixture into a baking tray and refrigerate until set. Cut it up and enjoy.
