KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 — NGC Energy Sdn Bhd is positioning itself as a key player in Malaysia’s energy transition, underscoring its commitment with a safety record of nearly 10 million man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).

The achievement sets a strong benchmark in the local gas and utilities sector and highlights the company’s focus on providing engineering solutions that prioritise both safety and efficiency.

Chief executive officer Julianna Kamaruddin said the company’s philosophy is to design projects that simplify complex energy systems while improving reliability and performance.

“As we support Malaysia’s energy transition, our focus remains on helping clients operate responsibly and efficiently,” she said in a statement.

NGC Energy’s operations are strategically aligned with the national goals outlined in the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and the Malaysia Renewable Energy Roadmap (MyRER).

With Malaysia targeting at 40 per cent renewable energy capacity by 2035, the company aims to provide the critical technical foundation for businesses to adopt cleaner energy solutions safely and effectively.

The company offers comprehensive engineering services that cover the entire project lifecycle, from regulatory design and approval to construction, testing, and long-term maintenance.

Its client base includes hotels, industrial gas facilities, and district cooling systems, all of which depend on compliant and reliable energy infrastructure.

Julianna reiterated that innovation and safety will remain the cornerstones of the company’s growth strategy.

“Smarter energy starts with safer systems,” she said. “We’re committed to driving positive change in Malaysia’s energy landscape.”
